    Another good day on Craigslist

Hi all! Answered an ad to pick up a combo vending machine. Got there and turns out it works fine! They thought it was broken but it was the wall socket and not the machine. They had already bought two replacement machines and said to take it anyway. So I did. Have the key and everything. It was a rehearsal studio and they're now a client too.

Next went to pick up an old Jeep transmission (you can see it in the bed) and came home with some servers and power racks too! Also got a whole bunch of server batteries. I haven't tested them yet but it's a good pick up either way.

Truth be told I'd been scouting the free craigslist section for nearly a month while I was preparing to move so I'm not totally shocked by what's offered. Or, better put, I'm shocked even though I knew it already lol

Spread you card around especially with those who have used your service already.

So do you have kids? If so fill it with snacks and pay the kids in quarters for extra chores. If they are hunger and not afraid of work you could finance their college education. 73, Mike

Indeed! Had cards made, pink so they're harder to lose , and have passed one out to every person I've picked up from. Have gotten a couple of calls back on them already including one today (small, older but working flatscreen and a broken water cooler). No kids but that's a great idea for the vending machine. In fact maybe I'll have a kid just so I can.....nah

Great finds. I stopped trolling c-list a while ago. Every time I called on something, it was gone, even if was just posted. I know they have apps and such to troll but I'm to cheap to buy apps. If possible, I would clean-up that vending machine and sell it, it just might go pretty fast.

    Happy scrapping.
