Venture was special but time to pass the torch
You know when I looked for this photo - I started seeing so many other memories of loads in all my past trucks
I know it's not stupid but I looked and wondered what is this insanity - I never quit on .
It's kinda like an old saying " A face only a mother could love "

So how did I do it ?
OK the pile had some steel piping with the roofing sheets so first I laid down the pipes
then went for the sheets and loose stuff Al went last
So did it scrape the road - well sure it did ...... Like once in a wile .
I sold off some sheets to some body who needed roofing material $55 about 300 pounds
the rest earned $179 the mix is around 1600 pounds
AL balanced out the value

I should of rented a trailer .
As I was driving it I had this very uneasy feeling .
Once I got home I strapped the end and kinda pulled it up off the ground about 5 inches
using a ratchet strap
I used a tarp & put a florescent green flag at end
to keep the police happy .
The truck came back to life ( springs )
but I'll think twice next time & get a trailer
If you notice I sound fresh when I explain what i plan to do
After loading 2000 pounds I sound a little winded - Took about 2 hrs
