    Medical equipment value?

I saw this picture from an auction and I was just curious what sort of scrap value you could expect out of something like this? There's no guarantee on this stuff if it works so I'm just searching for bottom-dollar scrap value. I've never come across anything like this yet. Any experience here?

You should have in there at least one decent sized telecom grade logic board, something motherboard-ish and a power supply at bare minimum.

What is it to start with? Its most likely to have more value sold 'as is' to somebody who wants it.

But going by the handle on it I'd say its some sort of patient monitoring device, not a scientific instrument of sorts.
I sorta figured this sort of stuff went to 3rd world countrys for their use, there's places on the net that do buy it, maybe, maybe if it goes.

There's a DNA block sequencer growing machine that's got a near solid block of Silver/Gold plated Silver or Gold block in them as a heat transfer block. Though now they are probably Copper or Aluminium, or without the block.
When I first started to see them they were often Silver/Gold plated Silver. After looking thru the manufactures books I find they were sometimes Gold.
But last time I looked, a year ago, I found that most did not come with the block, or its Ali or something.
Somebody was on to a good thing for a while.....

Its a 'DNA PCR' block. Hopefully this is a pic of it >
