Hey guys, new to the forum, and thx for the welcome in the introduction. Have a story for ya on a computer I picked up. A month or so I responded to a cl add for computers and parts. Guy had pics of a lot of stuff his uncle had left in his basement. Wanted $200 for all. I responded and offered him $50 and he accepted. Went the next day with wife's 4 door 2500 hd, 8' bed with camper. Thank god I didn't take my s10. Anyhow bed completely packed with 30 desktops, 20 laptops, 20 or so cpu's and boxes of all kinds of cords, ram, monitors CD/DVD drives. Massive stuff for me as this was my first ever cl add response. Filled truck and back seat. I have saved 3-4 computers. One in particular that I tried and tried to find something on with no success. Today I tried again just because. Well the computer has nothing knit on the case and is an older computer. All that's on it is a sticker, 1"X1", white background with a red name "Vincent" on it. Today I googled "what is a Vincent computer". One of the first things that came up was Vincent computer sales and repair on the other side of atl from me so I called to maybe see if they had a clue. Can't dance so what the heck I thought. Well the owner "Vincent" answered the phone and I explained my situation. To my amazement and disbelief, he used to build custom computers and put the sticker with his name on them. Hence "Vincent computer". It was his from at least 10-15 yrs ago. Wow. I finally figured out what a Vincent computer is. Hahaha. Sorry this is so long winded, and there's more about all the other stuff I got from that load but that's it for now. Thx for reading.
