    Yesterday was a sad day

It all started so nice. The wife woke me up with a birthday kiss. I got up did my morning routine, let the inside dogs out, fed the outside dogs, put the trash in the danger ranger so I could make my round to the landfill. Gave the wife a kiss bye and left for work. The morning went by pretty good with different people wishing me happy birthday in person and on Facebook. Made it to lunch, went to see my landfill guys and as usual, they came thru like champs, about 20 towers and a load of server boards that I've never seen before( one just covered with gold pins front and back). Went back to work completely stoked. 3oclock came with blazing speed and I was on my way home. Stopped by my regular stop to get an adult beverage(long neck 25oz corona and a cigar like I always do). And was happily on my way to see what the wife had in store for me for my birthday(wink wink). Then it happened, first the slightest whiff of burnt oil, then a few puffs of smoke out of the corner of my eye by the passenger window. Then to my horror the danger ranger, my baby, next to my wife the one thing I knew would love me forever, lost power and slowly rolled to a stop. I was frantic, I called my wife and we towed her to the truck hospital, only to find there were patients waiting ahead of us, so I had to do what no man wants to, I had to leave her there. The doc said he would check her out first chance he had. What's taking so long, I swear I keep hearing my phone ring only to have no one on the line. I'm losing my mind. How could such a great day turn so wrong.

As I was reading this I got worried that something bad happened to your wife. You had me hanging on the edge of my seat in suspense.
Well... thank got she is alright and hopefully your birthday was a good one ( wink , wink ) Don't worry about your danger ranger ANYTHING
can be fixed ( if you throw enough money at it) Hopefully this is not the case for you . I could replace my truck BUT I could never replace my wife ( no other woman would put up with me )
Remember... wherever you go... there you are

Thanks for the concern just thought I'd give a lil story about my misfortune to break the monotony. I sure wish I could post pics because that board he gave me this morning looked pretty cool all those gold pins shining in the sun. I'm gonna read and see if I can figure something out cause if you can't prove it it didn't happen

Update to all my friends, y'all will be happy to know my beloved danger ranger is back sitting in my driveway put a new engine, while I was at it a new tranny also. Not to mention the whole front end got new tie rods, ball joints, sway bars, and changed the oil in the rear end. I even decided to throw a welcome home party just for the two of us, we will be going to the property I own where I made a shooting range for my friends. Well it's mostly for me, but we haven't been for a while. So maybe there will be some buckets of brass casings. Once again thank you mechanic Matt for taking such good care of my baby nursing her back to tip top shape. LOL, THERE WILL BE ALOT OF BEER COSUMPSION.
