Huge 750kw Generator

Picked up this beautiful "little" 4000# 750kw Kohler generator last week. Will try to sell first but will scrap if I cant find a buyer. I don't have an engine large enough to run it. It was powered by a 1120 hp. V-16 Detroit diesel. I pulled all the extra wires out of the junction box, already got a bucket of #2 insulated and 50# of #1 insulated 350mcm which will be bare bright when stripped. Had my 4000# forklift on 2 wheels when I picked it off the trailer. Weighed up at 3810# with all the covers off and over 50#'s of wire out. I estimate the generator to weigh 3000 to 3200# when stripped of the rest of the wires, copper buss bar, 1200 amp switch, cabinet, flywheel and mounting flange. Which would make it the largest electric motor I have ever had! Happy Scrappy !!!
