    So when I Craigslist scrap, when someone offers all house appliances or similar, I take them all besides the refrigerator and or freezer or microwave (yard doesn't take microwaves) and I tell them that that they can get a 50$ rebate from Xcel Energy and they will haul it away for free and I tell them to just google it to do it online or call Xcel Energy. They are usually pretty thankful and pull the ad after I have taken their stuff if it's only the refrigerator left. Kinda sucks for the other scrappers that can legally evacuate the refrigerant etc... but is good for the person giving away the refrigerator.
