Sweet not a big crypto guy here just saw the market was crashing hard.....actually might be more profitable at lower prices.....seems like I do better when scrap/fuel/goods are lower than these high scrap prices along with high costs of fuel/goods

Yeah we get more yield when the market is making big moves up or down.
If it goes much lower some people will stop being profitable. If network difficulty goes down the remaining miners yield more in that case as well.
I sold off my older less efficient GPUs when the market was way up and now im on all 30 series RTX.
Between all newer GPUs and paying under the national average for electric im definitely more profitable than most hobby miners.
I bet if i searched we probably have a crypto thread already. Or maybe i'll start my own and keep this one scrap.
Well I shut off my GPUs after ETH switched to proof of stake(a few months after my last post).
Ran them a bit over the winter to heat my office.
I sold enough crypto at $45k BTC $2.7k ETH to pay for my investment in GPUs (about $30k).
If GPU mining doesn't become profitable by November im taking about 16 GPUs and building gaming systems.
As far as what ive been doing scrap wise...
Never did break down all my PC's.
Sold em for 0.28(no ram no CPU), bought the FTX crash dip and made 40% on my BTC haha.
Actually found a decent local buyer for boards so ive sold my stash and beginning to refill my IBC totes.
