I am declaring you the winner. MRI is close enough. It's for brain imaging so it was either CT or MRI probably.

I was thinking it was a frame for either manufacturing or shipping telescope mirrors when I bid on it at auction. It wasn't until I got the receipt I found out it was for brain imaging.
