I hear some noise coming from a pile of ABS next to me where I am breaking down CPUs at night. Weird must be a mouse or something from the sound.

Few mins later out of the corner of my eye I see one of these snakes about a foot from my foot heading under my workbench and it continued and disappeared under my shed.

2 years ago my dog was barking at a snake. She has a specific snake bark because she really really hates them. I grab a shovel to go check it out and there are 2 of these balled up mating.

One of the coolest things I have seen in my own yard.

Not a herpetologist me just an ethusiast so build in some doubt to my take lol. The lower frequency of the white/light yellow stripes and splotches says california over desert king best I know, also the hight contrast between the colors that are normally less distinct in desert kings. We get them here in Vegas freqently.
