    You snooze, you LOSE!

    the other week i seemed to have a fellow scrapper in my shadow, every time i saw something on the side of the road i would be on my way somewhere, come back 10 minutes later and boom gone!

    this week i'am just grabbing straight away and blaming the traffic if i'am late

    This is true. Grab it if you see it. I've even seen furniture I think I'll come back later and get, but no, even like dressers get snatched up. (Non-metal)

    Window shopping doesn't pay in the big scrap store. First come, first served. Factor some scrap time into your trips and skip on the excuses.

    I've learned this the hard way several times over. I was out and found a satellite dish on the curb. I left it, kept walking, came back 5 minutes later, and it was gone.
    There's nothing more fun and more effective than hitting something repeatedly with a sledgehammer
