I know it's nothing compared to the rest of you all, but we had that happen this past week, went from 60, to 10 in the same day. Slow cool down is nice, but a 50 degree drop all in one day sucks. We rarely see such temps here, or drastic changes but when we do man it's a doozy.
Sirscrapalot - I can send sand, but your on your own for a palm tree.
Some people still feel their crap is gold... I was laughing when I saw this $300 for a dead P-4 computer???
http://boulder.craigslist.org/sys/4283111867.html
" This listing is for a full Dell Desktop computer. VGA monitor and cable in working order, Keyboard and speakers with appropriate cables. The tower worked at one point, but now it wont turn on so I'm selling it for parts. I don't want to separate the parts so you must take each piece. "
That's cause there's a troy oz of gold in every computer TW.
I still lol over one of the yards down here arguing that when I called them on it. Good times.
Sirscrapalot - There's a sucker born every minute, but I ain't one of them. - Me
Whenever someone claims some outrageous amount like that, I offer to sell them a few tons of computers at just a fraction of what they say they're worth. What a deal! No takers yet

Got another one here folks. What's BurlyGuys' saying... "Removal is free, demolition is not".
Free Scrap metal
have about 50 feet of a retaining wall that has collapsed. The wall is about 6 feet in height and is about 50 feet in length. It's about a 10 gauge metal (fairly thick). It's free to anyone that wants to come pick it up. I'm reposting this ad because I had a lot of responses from people the first time I posted this ad that didn't have the right tools and equipment to remove the panels. Because the wall has fallen over, there are some panels that have a lot of dirt and rock on them. You'll probably need a bobcat to remove the dirt/rock so you can get to the entire panels. You'll also need a torch or heavy duty saw to cut the wall into panels so they can be removed and loaded. You can drive down to the shoreline to load the panels on a trailer once you cut them out. Please only email me if you have all of the equipment and tools it will take to remove this wall. Thanks.

We use F° around these parts, so figure that into your reading of this:
Thursday the 27th at 7:30, my weather station posted a reading of 25.2°F (Google has a converter, so that's -3.8°C to you)
Friday afternoon at 15:36, just over 32 hours later, we hit 78.1°F (25.6°C) for a difference of 52.9°F (29.4°C),
Then, Saturday afternoon at 15:01 topped that with a reading of 82.2°F (27.9°C)
Well, at 6:22 this morning, not quite thirty-eight-and-a-half hours later, we were back down to 16.0°F (-8.9°C), a drop of 66.2°F (36.8°C)
So, bottom line: 25° up to 82° in 2 days, then back down to 16° 2 days later. And it's supposed to be back in the 70s by Friday.
Gotta love Texas.
