Ground up restoration. The link takes you to a bunch of pictures of the entire restoration, including pictures of the finished bike. I've ridden the bike a total of about 1 mile just to let the engine run once in a while. I have a bunch of extra parts I would toss in too if you're interested. It was really fun doing the restoration, but time to move on to the next project.

I am copying/pasting ads I find since links will eventually expire, or get deleted.

Onwards to this joker...$2,000 and it has a blown engine.

    '92 F250 Brand new tires and reman e40d tranny - $1 (fairview/curtis)

Work truck. 1992 f250 extended cab. Decent body, like i said it was a work truck so its got dings/scratches dents. The interior is pretty rough. Here is the punch line--Master craft courser a/t2 tires (245/75/16) tires that have less than a thousand miles on them. They still have blue chalk on them from the tire shop. The front end was redone about a month before the motor blew. Tie rods/ball joints/bushings. The tranny is a re-manufactured E4OD 4x4 with less than 5000 miles on it. Do your research and you will see how ridiculously expensive these are. Remanned they are about 1700, and new they are over 2000. TAKE THE WHOLE TRUCK FOR $2000 or call me and lets talk about parts. Do the math and you will see that you are better off taking the whole truck. Scrap yard will pay 500 bucks but it's a shame to see all these parts go to waste. The motor is a 460. The truck will actually start, run, and drive. It blows crazy amounts of white smoke out both pipes.

My boss was sick of dumping money in this truck and bought a f450 flatbed. My boss does not NEED to sell this as he has plenty of money, so be serious with your offers.

Trevor 208 401 6625 Call/text/email If you don't have money, don't waste my time. I will answer questions and show the truck. Just get in touch with me. Thanks

And a dryer for $50, that if you don't want to repair, you can scrap it...for about 9 bucks in these parts.

Did I read that right? Someone is looking for a used Sybian?????

    Man people are weird!

FWIW, I can't stand Craigslist. Everyone wants a fortune for their junk and if you post anything for sale on there they want it in perfect condition for practically free. I love all the people who post on there wanting you to give them a car (no way, go scrap for the money and buy one like I would)

I hope you explained the real value of a scrap washer to the guy so someone else doesn't have to suffer through that.

It is what it is and you get what you pay for. I will cruze the free section for scrap in my area and take a chance that it is still there if it's close. Mainly I use CList to sell items but no emails...call/text and only give an address if they are ready to come in the next hour and will only hold an item for an hour. Not too many flakes lately, knock on wood. The other extreme is Ebay where you have to pay to play but million of people have access to your goods.

As to #4 and the ps...that would explain the mother-in-law comment in some other post I read.

I always threatened my wife that when she turned 40 I was going to trade her in for two-20 year olds. Something said for experience tho and just couldn't do it...maybe at 50 I'll go for two-25 year olds.

Not necessarily a "crazy" ad, other than maybe the price. This could be a gold mine for someone.

10 Acre Auto Salvage yard for sale or trade - $200000 (Jerome, Idaho)

I have a 10 Acre Auto salvage yard 1/2 way between Wendell and Jerome Idaho for sale or possibly trade. The yard has 400+ cars (mainly vintage) and several trailers full of parts, a 1981 mobile home with 320 ft. well, etc. I originally purchased the yard to employ my brother and as an investment, but he turned out the be a crook and is now gone (never go into business with family) leaving me trying to run the yard from Boise.

I am active duty with the USAF and have a 3yr old and a brand new two weeks old and do not have the time and energy to run this yard. I do a good EBAY business with parts that I pull from cars in the yard and there is large potential to do a lot more with some effort. There is an old Wiggins forklift and Chevy 1 ton slant back tow truck that come with the yard to run the business but they both need work. The basic infrastructure is there to build a nice little business, I presently have a guy and his wife who live on site who would be more than willing to work for the new owners if need be.

I own my property free and clear, the taxes are very low, and it is grandfathered as an auto salvage yard in Jerome county, Idaho. There is probably between $100k and $150k worth of metal if you just crushed the entire yard, but thought I would offer it for sale first as I hate to crush the old cars. You could make a lot more parting them out if you have the time and energy. The key to this yard is to live onsite or in the Jerome/Wendell/Twin Falls Idaho area and run this business yourself. I would be willing to sell with a substantial down and carry a note for 5 years, trade for rental property or a house in Boise in the 200K range. I am not interested in a partner or someone who wants to sell parts for me, etc. It is too difficult to find honest people to do this with, that is why I recommend an onsite owner/operator.

For more info call Brooke at 208-866-zero zero seven eight.
