I'd take $1000 for that, too, but I'd wear a mask.

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I have a older (1971) slide in camper. It is sitting on my one ton long box Chevy right now. It does not have camper jacks, and I don't own any. It doesn't come with a propane tank, jacks, facet for sink, but pluming does work, it needs some of the sheet metal on the outside replaced, and paint. It is missing one roof vent. All the wiring works good, but will need to have the fixtures updated. Has a working 3 burner stove/ oven. The roof does not leak, all windows are good except one of the little ones in the bunk area is broke, but still water tight. Even if you wanted the camper for parts, there is over $300 worth of scrap aluminum there, plus the coper wiring, so on and so forth. I just don't have a way to get it off my truck, and no time to tear it down. It may work good for storage as well. So bring your jacks, fifty bucks, and its yours. You will have to transfer the camper, with my help. Thanks.

    -----------

Somehow I doubt there is $300 worth of aluminum, but I suppose anything is possible. At around .50 lb here that would be 600 lbs...ohh and the copper, cuz you know one of these is bound to have miles and miles of it. lol

A lot of expectations for someone trying to get something off their property for free.

Depending on condition of the homes, there are park owners looking for those.

I am going to guess they're totally trashed though.

    ;?)
Funny they call them used parts but they are not what I would consider parts. Expensive scrap metal is all I see about six dollars a pound. for dirty aluminum. Why would I decorate with a 2000 sportster head. If it was from an older HD or Indian I could see someone hanging it on a wall. This is a crazy auction, but I am going to watch it to see if it sells so I can see if the winner wants to buy some of my dirty cast aluminum for the same price.

camper has a lot of usable stuff on it still. whats missing from it is the fridge toilet and water pump everything else is still there. come and get for FREE!!! You can take anything off of it you want or need and scrap the rest. please dont respond asking a bunch of questions on it. it is a 76 cabover camper with a slight roof leak but other than that everything else is fine. cabinets hindges sink stove propane tank all outlets and electrical system all drawers windows roof vents interior lights. like I said there is a lot of stuff that can be used still. So if you would like to have a camper for spare parts and strip the metal and salvage it to make a little bit of money off of it. come and get its free.
One thing you need to bring is a set of jacks as the jacks are gone as well. "

    -------------------------
    His reply:

I do still have the camper. I have had about 25 people reply about. I've had a couple people offer money. $40 is the highest. If u can come right now $40 its yours.

    -------------------
LOL. Right, I am going to pay $40 and then break my back dragging it onto a flatbed since I don't have any camper jacks.

If he really had 25 people, and some with offers, then why is it still available?

Told him to take the offer since it wasn't worth it to me by the time I load it and haul it away.

I ran his email address through facebook. Turns out I know the family. Most of them are crooked. Explains why it was free, now it's 40 haha.

Always like the Clist adds that contain the generic lines like "I was told", "needs tlc", "too many projects" or the classic "Carbs need adjusting"

It doesn't look like it is even ride-able the pedals sit on the ground as it sits. What a impractical P.O.S. sorry if this offends anyone but here if you can't use it what is the use of having it.

Ever since that kid traded up from a pencil to porsche that's all people try to do now. It really is kind of annoying sometimes.

Then he should haul it in for scrap and avoid the hassle of selling it on CL.
