Caps and not breaking long ads into paragraphs are my peeves.

Fed up with it and want it GONE! Invested too much time and money in this infernal thing! Warning: Strange unexpected temporal effects around the device. Highly magnetically charged, must not wear any metal around device. No pacemakers please or steel parts inside you please! Cannot be dismantled at this time as it has taken on a personality of its own and will not allow entrance to its internal components due to a very strong repellent force. Will need to be carefully moved in a non metal device, not to come in contact within 25 feet of ANY metal source! Come get it please.

Oh I see, makes sense. It just looks really dumb lol. Just found this too: "I have 20 empty egg cartons, the paper type that holds 1 dozen eggs. I can meet anywhere in Mankato or North Mankato, just email me to set up a time." LOL

FEW MORE DAYS SCRAP Subaru XT6 AWD 6 cylinder 1988 Rail Buggy trade - $350 (Caldwell)

    Date: 2011-11-23, 11:20AM MST
Reply to: sale-rn8rk-2717421744@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Last posting car will go to junkyard after this Thanksgiving weekend I have not had the time to take it but I should be able to take it by Wed. I don't want to spend the time to take so I am going to let the car go for 350.00 and this is firm. If I take the car I already have a price of 400.00 they will give me but I have too many things to do and I don't want to spend the time to load it on the trailer blah blah blah.

If you have something you want to trade that I want we car talk about that.

Please don't call me to ask me what is wrong with the car. This car is not going to have a battery put in it then drive away, if that were the case it would be worth more then scrap price, right....

YOU are more then welcome to look at the car bring your tools, bring your battery and do what you like.

This is a 350.00 car that has NO meaning to me so I am not going to spend any time to figure out what is wrong with it, that will be your job. If you don't like it then you can take it to the scap yourself and get your money back.

This car will be going to the scrap / junkyard in a few days

Car was going to be put back on the road although there is no time and we have to clear out some space

The motor turns over fine but we have not spent the time to get it started.

1988 I have the title and it is is my name

    Kona 208-794-6776

I can't take payments this car has to be gone. I don't want to see it go to the scrap cause it can be put back on the road.

I will deliver up to 25 miles for 50.00

    -----------------------

Joker doesn't have time to fix it or haul it in himself, yet for $50 more he will deliver it. Or he COULD just take it in and "they will give him $400"

No idea what yard will give him 400 but I'd like to know.

it's not for sale either so who is buying it? looks like someone is trying to get rid of it to avoid dump fees since that's about all it's worth.

I haven't had a real good look at Craigslist or Ebay, but the layout seems to be terrible, to me anyway.

I'm used to 'TradeMe'. NZ'ds equivalent of Ebay.

Check it out & see what you think http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used...-427197290.htm

As an alley runner/scrap remover I ended up with some close calls dealing with "customers", I ended up in court twice and fought my way out. It still cost me some $$ and time not to mention stress about the outcome. So I adopted these safety precautions after paying a lawyer for help. Every state is different but the basic principals should be good everywhere. When a customer requests a pick-up or purchase of scrap I request a curbside arrangement, this good 70% of the time. We agree on a time and address and I get there on time. If they need removal it is a $10 fee plus $1 per step over 5. I had a generic bill of sale and a statement of HOLD HARMLESS on the same page that I had them sign before stepping foot on their place. This not absolute protection but it puts a professional "edge" to the exchange. You can get generic wordage for both from legal sites or have a paralegal service draw one up for about $100. Not only are the CL adds insane but the whole society is disintegrating..this makes for desperate, predatory people, so take these kind of stories very seriously, protect yourself and family from attack. Scrap on....
