Finally A Pool That Pays Off

Around here to actually get a pool to take down off Craig's List is just about impossible. I replied to one that had been hanging around for a couple of hours never thinking it would be there. It wasn't 5 minutes later a woman called and said "please come take this pool down! I must warn you though it's a big pool with a metal deck all the way around it. You may not want that much work"

I'm lickin my chops about now just wondering to myself...all aluminum or all metal? I showed up early the next morning ready to go with a magnet in hand. The whole deck and framework was all aluminum with a privacy screen of you guessed it..aluminum. The pool also was aluminum and drained also.

I spent a total of thirteen hours on take down and making sure all the stainless nuts and bolts were out. My first load was an even 600 lbs of extruded @ .67 a lb. Tomorrow I'll be bringing the actual pool and the privacy screen in as sheet for .50 lb. and there's about 275 lbs total. If my calculations are right I've got $539.00 for 13 hrs work for a cool $41.46 ph.

Now the next one I get will be a crappy PT deck with a rotting metal pool!
