I have stumbled onto a project like this one as well. Just without all the headaches. Cleaning out 3 semi trailers and an acre of land covered in piles of
ewaste and
scrap metal. The guy is selling us the ewaste and keeping the scrap as he is getting older and doesnt have time or energy to break down equipment. He was one of the top glass etchers in the world, drove trucks all over the USA and taught himself computers better then any college graduate i know. During this time he helped out with a ministry going around the country helping those in need. Through those contacts he started to receive large donations of electronics that he fixes up and donates to needy families and children. All of this comes back to me having the opportunity to talk and and help out someone who has lived his life the way he wants and had a great time doing it. We have been filling the truck 2-3 times a week and still barely made a dent. tuesday we might finish off printer mountain and take out more of the crt grave yard. We are getting closer to the woods and thats were he says all the motherboards are. I can tell we found a true gem this month to work on. Plus the yard is staying full from the crew curb shopping, and doing pickups when we find the time.
Dunemaul- Having a blast watching out for alligators and snakes.
