Good stuff. Looks like what I end up with after processing microwave transformers. I had an attachment made for a harbor freight 20 ton press that pushes the steel out.
Sell the ballast as is even with the steel on it.
Better than the dump!
Those prices sound like dirty aluminum prices, not copper prices.
Assuming it is copper and not aluminum wire, then remove the paper and it should go as #2 copper.
the 8cents he said was electric motor price.
