I just saw your post. Very few spools. Most wire was old and pulled from construction places a few were new and from electricians. I had to straighten and trim to 24 inches to easily remove from the outer insulation and then run through my stripper.

The romex can be easy to strip in 10 foot lengths. Grab one of the wires inside and put it in the bench vise. Pull the ground wire with a pair of pliers and it rips off the outer insulation jacket. It works with UF wire too but not quite so easily.
I'm afraid i'm getting spoiled lately. I've been running into hot water coils made of copper & brass. It's an easy 7 - 11 lbs of #2 copper and 9 lbs of brass.
Been saving my wire to process this winter when things are slow and there's not as much coming into the shop.
