Since I got so much response on my x-ray.... Have any of you guys ever scrapped galvanized steel grain bins???? I read you should strip the bolts out instead of trying to just loosen them, saves a lot of time! Anyone......

actually have access to about seven of them to scrap on my families farm, just trying to figure out an economical way to to do it and an idea of what the take would be...

I have seen them torn down mainly with cutting torches and heavy equipment.

A pay loader or backhoe will wad one up into a reasonable ball. It's just about as fast to disassemble them as it is to cut them up, but you need bin jacks to do it safely on the bigger ones.
