    Just stopping by

First a big thank you to Childhood Dream for reminding me of this site. I had given up after offering to be a moderator many times. I am happy there are more relevant posts now.

Since this website imploded on itself I have removed two water towers (over 300 ft. tall), numerous grain bins, and cleaned up to many farms. Sorry no pictures since I was not motivated to post them. For those interested in my adventures, please search Patriot76 or Tumbleweed.

For those that are interested, I am retired now and scrap when I want and where I want. The company that hired me for the "Scrappers Dream" (search on this web site) made an offer that I will decline. I am on medicare and social security and do not need the additional headaches.

Bottom line, life is good. Focusing on the ranch which had the county dump on it and plan to clean it up in the next decade. Scrap On.
Give back more to this world than we take.

Have not been on the web site lately and glad to see valuable threads once again instead of all the spam. Thank you to those that have kept it going. Still scrapping but have two new full time jobs or challenges.

First is to visit all 63 of the national parks. Just got back from the Smokey Mountains. Beautiful country, lots of country music, and great hiking.

Many talk about the value of their life span and for me health span is of greater importance. During our travels we try to visit various community centers, rec centers, and health clubs. The daily routine starts with a workout. We love the outdoors so a great deal of time is spent hiking, backpacking, skiing, fishing and hunting.

For me scrapping and this lifestyle is what the good life is about.
