    Our First Load

    17 LB Sheet Aluminium @ .55 $9.35



    38 LB #2 Copper @ 3.15 $113.40

    2 LB Yellow Brass @ 1.65 $3.30

    Sheet Iron @ 0.1175 $44.65

    Total: $170.70

    Not bad for a couple of hours work

    The copper was the old lighting rod cables off a house being reroofed down the road. The aluminium was trim scrap from the same job. The brass was a lock set I bought at a rummage for a quarter, and the steel was crap I cleared out of my barn.

    I keep telling my son, he's 25, that it's not always gonna be this easy. That we are having some beginners luck right now.
