Thats what I have also. Do you know anyone with a trailer that could handle that or a larger truck?
I've got a Dodge 2500 Cummins and a 20 foot 10K trailer. Need some help???
If the I-beams are still good they have a HUGE resell on them for new buildings.
I'm sure there gone now. This was like 2 months ago plus I don't have any place to store them. And how would I get them onto a trailer. I got some muscle but not that much. Lol
I really need to get my Warn Winch mounted on my trailer !!!!
I really need to get a portable winch
Here is a pic of that motherload I could of got if I had the right equipment. See if the pic works.
When that opened, I got a knot in my stomach. I hope you're ready next time and don't let another one get away.
You going to travel to missouri?
I do have family in the KC and St Joe area.
Do you KNOW that they're gone now?
Could you have rented a trailer and forklift?
Tied up the deal and sell it to someone else?
I wish I could of. I'm trying to get a helper that doesn't work when I do and has off weekends like I do. And we could of got it all.
Built quite a few house over the years and it is suprising how many pieces of steel you can move/load with a crane in an hour and I'm almost certain you could hire a small one for about $100 hr. You wouldn't need a helper cuz the crane is doing all the work. So now you need a rig that can handle the load, your f150 and a trailer could handle part and if you didn't have anything else you might consider hiring a flat bed tow truck to take some, they will move anything you pay them to haul for the most part. Last problem is getting it unloaded once you get to the yard, so maybe you could strike a deal with them ahead of time for them to unload it for you. Of course your going to have to spend some money to make some money in this case, but the bottom line is you didn't make any money if someone else did it instead of you.

Here is an idea. Call your yard tell them you have a large load of steel and how much would they charge to bring out a dumpster. Then call someone who does tractor work. You can load in dumpster with frontend loader. Just make sure you do your calculations so you don't loose money. Good luck
I know. Right know money is tight. No extra money right know.
split profits with someone who can do it.. whats that called brokering or something?
Next time use some calculations to figure the total weight, once you see the profit
Maybe the profit could have financed the equipment for you to have like a used trailer and paying some one to help. I still don’t know it all but looks like there was at least 100 pieces I think each foot weighs 161 pounds, those I beams look 25 feet @ 4000 lbs each I think around
$ 12,000.00 to $14,000.00.
If the items were free for you to get. You also could find someone to lend you money (for equipment) and pay them a percent on lent money from profits . You could pay 8 % to 10 % for lent money that’s better then a bank for the lender.
