    Holy crap! $2.80 for motors!?

So, I just got back from my yard, and I think they must have made a major screw-up on my ticket. Under "copper bearings", which is what they refer to motors and low grade circuit boards as, it says $2.80 as the unit price. I'm thinking they must have added an extra zero or something, because there's no way that can be right. But I'm not complaining. They turned my 50 lbs of motors from $13 to over $130! I'd say that's a pretty good price. Didn't someone on here say that it payed better to break down motors? Haha

There's nothing more fun and more effective than hitting something repeatedly with a sledgehammer

Oh, they got me this time too. I forgot to mention that I had a bit of ductwork that I brought in as well, and I just realized that they didn't include that in my price. It was only like $10 worth, though. I still came out on top

I've been screwed over more than once at this yard. I think this was karma coming back on them.

If I see a mistake I always mention it but they never correct it. Might get the person who made the mistake in trouble. So I get to be honest and come out on top anyway.
I always break the motors down. Throw the windings on my brush pile and then burn it. Go in with a pitchfork and pull them, and the lighting ballasts and transformers out and shake the ash off. Then I clean it sitting in front of the TV.
    Pays good!
