Wide range of value in cats. Generally the lower priced will get AT LEAST $40 at a scrap yard. I'll pay $20 on up as the middle man. They can be over $250 at a scrap yard. Core buyers will be higher. Do you know what kind of vehicle it came off?

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Unfortunately, I don't, and I am sure he wont remember.

He does a lot of work for a medium sized used car dealership here. All I know, is that came from one of them.

Thanks for the information on it though. I will ask my yard about it on Tuesday when I go in.

Stupid question, but every car has one right? (like I said, all we (my ex partner and I) did to them was strip the battery, tires, and drilled holes in the gas tank.

I don't have one. I know where it would be at, as I use this forum software for a site of mine, but there is nothing there.

I took a cat one time to a buyer here, but it definitely wasn't work the little bit of money I got for it. I was always told that they get good money, but I sure didnt.
I Googled their contact number. It's in Illinois.

In that case, I will refer it to the scrap yard, but for me personally, wouldn't be real worth it.

I asked her my usual questions, Where are you located, are the appliances easily accessible or do I have to remove from the building, ect. After a couple emails we came to an agreement and I was to go and get them once they got them out of the basement and put into the garage, and to cover my fuel and time I would charge her $20.

That was back in July, on Monday of this past week I heard from her again stating that the appliances were ready for pickup. So I went today to get them unknowing that it was going to be at an old apple orchard. I loaded the appliances and while talking with the mother she asked me if I take anything else, I stated that I will take anything metal, recyclable, and anything that I could resell. The then proceeded to ask if I was interested in a couple plows. We went to see these plows and they are in good usable condition, she just has no use for them and she wants them gone and cleaned up, then I started looking around and the entire hedge row was full of old farm implements and I asked her if she wanted them gone and she said with excitement, YES!!!

So what was going to be a couple appliances turned out to be 2 or 3 loads of farm implements and scrap. There is even a cracked up Subaru Station Wagon that she wants gone.

I will post pictures tomorrow after I get some work done.

She contacted me thru word of mouth. I have been doing this for over 15 years and have built up a pretty nice client base.
