Yes, I know they are electric motors and I cut the outside steel shell off with a torch and sold the heavy inside as a motors. Ive been tearing apart stuff as long as I can remember.

Been doing a cleaning out of a TV repair shop that has been in business for 30+years this last week as well. Filled up a 6 gallon bucket with bare bright, and the green bin is almost full of #2 insulated.
When im not working or scrapping, I play with my little ole mustang.
