I plead not guilty to all tickets, you would be amazed how often the DOT, the scale guy of the police are a no show and the judge tosses the case.

Get a lot of tickets do ya?
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

Especially when I lived in B.C. had the big truck with an Atlas crane, sometimes stopped in each municipality ( 3 ) before reaching the scrap yard, they think your making money, they know you can pay the tickets.
Most speed traps are early morning to catch the working man, seldom after 10:00 am, when your working scrap you spend a lot of time on the road you get a feel for these things. I'm taking in a load tomorrow morning I'll leave here at 5:00 am just to avoid trouble.

confession is good for the soul...but harassment is a sin !!! If I were stopped 3 times in one day, I'd be matter than he!! .
Not going to get long winded on this, but it was a deciding factor in selling out in B.C. then moving to Manitoba, been here 5 years now and never once stopped by a cop or other highway enforcement.
Had some trouble with a neighbor who would make complaints about me to the RM office, working late hours, messy yard that type of stuff well we moved last December, I go over once in awhile to read the meter and mow the grass pick up mis routed mail.
We were the only people in the Village to fence in our yard to keep our Jack Russel home, I added extra insulation to he shop to suppress the noise and never ran the wood planer after 6 pm, he even complained when I had my foundry furnace fired up one day because the noise from the 800,000 btu propane fired torch made a roar a sound unfamiliar to the neighborhood.
The sound coming from my place was not that of a lawnmower. People do not like a change in their routine.
This time we do not have neighbors, the nearest is an Indian Reserve 2 miles away, most I've met are really cool folks, I do a few free welding jobs now and then and give parts from any scrap cars to anyone in need. Been eating Moose and Elk for the past month.

And that why I live off in the middle of 60 acres of woods: http://s1209.photobucket.com/albums/...eaerial006.jpg
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
