    Cool Today's Load: 09/06/11

    Sheet Iron 460 # @ $230 NT: $52.90
    Yellow Brass 48 # @ $1.65#: $79.20
    Old Sheet Aluminium 13# @ $.50#: $6.50
    #2 Copper 8# @ $3.05: $24.40
    #1 Copper 16# @ $3.25: $52.00



    Total: $215.00

    A nice payday

    Here's our load for the day; 284 lb. motherboards, 220 lb. power supplies, 123 lb. floppy/cd drives, and a bunch of other misc. for a payday of $2085.00

    Mechanic, does your yard buy those boards like that or do you sell to a specialty buyer for the boards?

    Mechanic, can you give a more complete break down? I am interested in what you got per pound. I have a much small amount on hand and want not to get riped on price. Thanks, Mike

    What is that Duke??? you mean the payday. That was saving up for about 2 months. Been a long time coming. But we broke everything down and sorted it out to maximize the profit. In our case we gained a little bit more by cutting off the fingers. I don't recommend that, if your buyer says no. Check with your special buyer to see how they want the stuff handled and sorted. Just my .01 1/2 cents (after tax)
