Am I missing something here, thought your bud owned the trailer. My original question I was going to ask how your friend accepted the separation of the partnership.

The trailer resides at my house as my friend had no way of storing it anywhere else. after this week this will no longer be the case unless rules are discussed.

Your a presumptuous little devil taking matters into your own hands where your friends trailer is concerned. If I understood you correctly you were planning to advertise for work truck with trailer what no partner. I'm guessing that you never maned up to speak with your bud while you were using his trailer over the weekend.

Using your friends trailer without his agreement would be fraud by conversion, your stealing from the partnership.

You certainly hit the nail on the head when you tittled this thread evil and selfish.

I don't think we should rush to judgement because we clearly do not have all the facts here.....

How is that different to 'the partner' NOT paying for Gas, truck maintanance, trailer storage etc, etc, etc.

I find it hard to believer that two guys working out of the same truck all day can not find time to discuss their partnership, the situation as it stands should never had a chance to come to a head.

You've heard the expression "Birds of a feather flock together, in his opening statement paints his buddy as someone cheating on his wife leaching off of his parents. His words not mine.

I would like to hear his ex partners side of the story.

So all the projects I had lined up which netted me quite a bit of money were really just projects to drive around all week and waste time.

Every load I turned in my friend wanted half due to the "helping" of loading and such. Rarely any help on gas (ford f250 5.4) He bought a trailer and thats great but I do not see how this entitles him to half. If he were not working with me he would be at home living off his wife he cheats on anyway or his parents who own businesses. I am disgusted with myself for feeling this way and for allowing this to happen.

I am staring down the barrel of not being able to make rent at all this weekend by Monday and am in a race now to try and make up the cash but I doubt it will happen.

I am done with the letting a friend help me. Next week he can take his trailer and attempt to do this on his own (will not happen) but I need to worry about me and my business as a scrapper just starting out. Sad..but necessary to survive. Sorry..but I had to share my frustration with a familiar crowd or risk self implosion from frustration.

$275 by Monday 10 pm here I come.

Yeah like i said which my post got deleted for some reason.

Is why does it matter who or how he got a trailer your friend or whatever Junker. It is not his fault he didn't help with gas you need to speak up and say hey i need gas money.not get on here and be like it dont matter his parents bought it for him and blah blah who cares.

My use of the trailer as a lone wolf to pay expenses this weekend was already negotiated. No backroom dealing. My post was not a dissolution of partnership but a statement of frustration towards what i believed were business mishaps probably on my part and partners. All has been resolved pollitically for the better already. I appreciate the sny remarks and strikes at character based on loose information being taken out of context and examined to death. i was short on rent as i only managed to aquire 120$ worth of stuff And a tire blew out. However, help came....

Its a new week and im ready to build my empire. growing pains suck.

$120 for 3 whole days, that's hard going. I wish you all the best with your new ventures starting on the morrow.

I have hoped the best for you in the past and will continue to do so...but if your going to vent on a forum like this be prepared to hear/read ALL the criticisms, not just what you want to hear.

you got a LOT of "cheering" from the sidelines, J. Sorry you chose to focus on the negative ones. I hope you have a good understanding with your helper/partner/friend. Maybe it's because you were upset that you chose to diss him so badly, but if he is like you described, it is hard to understand why you would want him for any of the above. We are not here (forum or earth) to judge each other, but we are human and often say/write before we think things through. I hope this is a productive week for you. Keep us posted.
