Ok here is what i got so far broke down the 16 towers took me 2 hours and 20 minutes. Now the crappy part is alot of these machines were not complete. Alot of them were missing HD's and like half of them were remote workstations so they didnt have pci cards and the like in them. Alot of ram was missing from machines as well. I payed what I did this time to the scrapper guy to get him to use me in the future. Little greasin of the wheels if you know what I mean. I also ex0plained to him what it ment to be a complete machine so he knew for the future.
180 lbs steel at $.10/lb = $18.00
4.2 lbs of fans at $.15 = $.63
31.7 lbs of cd rom drives at $.16 = $5.07
7.9 lbs floppy drives at $.16 = $1.26
13.4 lbs hard drives at $.85 = $11.39
47 lbs of power supplies at $.25 = $11.75
1.3 lbs ram at $11.50 = $14.95
.8 lbs of p4/amd metal top cpu = about $6
4 lbs of pci cards at $3.60 = $14.40
6.2 lbs of alum heat sinks at $.62 = $3.84
5.3 lbs of wire at $.64 = $3.39
20 lbs of motherboards at $3.60 = $72.00
For a total of $162.68
Yet to dismantle is 2 old laptops or just sell whole for $3 each = $6.00
18 crt's for about $5 each = $90
4 lcd screens = ?
So just in scrap price when its all said and done I should be able to get about $260.00.

1 asus pci express video card $30 on ebay
5 dvdr drives $10 each on ebay
2 copies of windows xp home edition with key codes $20 each at local computer shop.
total of Apox $325 if they all sell on ebay. After fees from ebay and paypal should net about $280.00 for a grand total of $540.00
so for a weekends worth of work
$540.
-110 cost to purchase load
-20 for gas
for a total profit of $410 for what should be no more then 10 hours of total work. we will see how long the crt's take me tomorrow.
and the keeper is a p4 2.8ghz/1m/800 with an intel d915gav/d915pgn motherboard. I think im going to use the coolmax powersupply, 4gb of the ram, 320gb sata drive and make a set top box for out in my living room.
