    A nice find =)

This is a box of gold trims that I picked up from a company a day or so ago but did not have time to mess with. Now..I paid an arm and a leg for it...but I think I made out real good.

The gold tested out to be from 10k to 22k. Will try to get a better test on it over the weekend. Its thicker than my thumb nail (about 3 to 4sheets of paper thick) as you can see from the photo this is not your every day fingers..

well heres the upside...I have 40pounds and should be getting 160pounds of this every month. Now I am trying to find a buyer and or a new vendor for this..either way...I stand to make a nice penny on the deal.

Any gold buyers in here looking to buy? hmmm

What in the world did those come off of? I've sat here staring for a few minutes now and I can't figure it out. They look like little golden rulers to me...

The coating of gold is pretty thick an had tested high for gold as you can see.

The company I picked it up from said they cant not tell me what they make there. There was no company name and I was not able to get past the front door, so beyond that I have no clue what they where making....wish I did know.

Then I think Toker is correct. Military grade components or maybe even NASA grade? I would think that those are the sheer trimming from larger gold printed circuit boards. Just a guess on my part though.

You got the two names that popped into my head. But your guess is as good as mine.

I would Google the contact number, and/or street address of pickup for kicks. Was there any paperwork involved in this pickup? Sounds odd to me to be this secretive.

    Guided missile component maker? LOL

sounds like a smaller manufcturer producing components for other Mil/Gov/Space agency to me.

No need to know, aslong as you can keep going back!

Oh!! I just remembered!!! I got some of cuts like this a year or 2 ago, they were from a company that made hi tech medical machinery such as CT scaners, Radiology equipment, tissue samplers and mass spec machines...could be similar?? they were just as secretive, I just happened to have a contact inside
