yesterday I got to the yard late in the day with a small load of steel, that was taking up space.
I backed up to the scale ready to drop-off and noticed a load still on there.
I jumped out to check what it was, there on the scale was a truck engine and a big puddle of oil! the yard owner came out apologising saying a regular customer had told him the engine was drained! he checked out the load i had in the back and we started guessing how much was there, we got up to 60kg, which i reckon was a bit over, i was cool with that dropped it all off on his steel pile, he came out and gave me the cash, which was a couple of dollars over for my troubles.
has anybody else had this happen?
