Time to **** or get off the pot

Well, the landlord at my shop told me yesterday that I can't store all of my junk on the side of the building like I've been doing for the past few weeks. I totally understand, it built up fast. I just figured that with all the other crap that the other businesses had lying around he wouldn't mind. guess I was wrong. My building is more to the front near the road, but I was doing a good job of keeping it out of sight.

Most of it is shred so I'll have no problem dumping it off this week. I do have a lot of aluminum and appliances to process so I need a spot quick. I checked out some storage units nearby and it looks like I'll be getting a 10x15 to start with. He also has a 10x25 with 2 sided access for a decent price that he said I could work on cars in (by work I mean strip down to nothing and sell parts). Since winter is around the corner Im not looking for any vehicles to start so the smaller unit will be fine.

Soooo I guess this is going to be a little more than a hobby to make some extra cash. I just ordered business cards last week and got my first CL call yesterday so I can't stop now. I just need to find someone to run my eBay store and I think I can be pretty productive.

    Wish me luck!

    Best of luck to you!

I've found myself in a similair situation. Running out of storage room in a hurry. My landlord and neighbours have been awesome with me keeping my larger items tucked behind the house (I rent an apartment in a house split into 3 units) but I don't want to push my luck with that. There is a storage unit place around the corner from me, not sure on cost yet but I'm hoping it's doable.

If you were closer, I would handle your ebay stuff, oh well. I have a similar problem here, thank goodness my house has a fence.

Can you handle my eBay stuff? I have tons of stuff that are just waiting to be put up on eBay, I just can't find the motivation to make auctions for them.

Not without getting my hands on it. My brother-in-law occasionally ships me stuff to sell for him. It generally needs to be a good value to go through that mess though.

Yeah selling random items is good money, but can be time consuming and tedious. That's why I "stick" to decals. Haha.

I list them once with a quantity of 1000 and produce them by the dozen. Then it's all about filling orders and stuffing envelopes.
