So much for not working on the weekends!

So much for not working on the weekends, but I always make exceptions for long time customers!

Had a client just call me that manages a flea market through his Church. They accept everything from people for the most part.

First time he called me, he told me what he had. I was expected like 1 refrigerator, and some other misc metal. I get there, and this guy has like 3 refrigerators, 4 washers and dryers, some metal filing cabinets, miscellaneous metal items, and some brass trinkets.

It was definitely a good haul. Went back one other time, and close to the same amount.

Meeting him Saturday at around 5pm which is roughly a 20 minute drive from me to get another load. Will turn it in first thing on Monday. Love starting the week off with $250 to $300 in my pocket.

We also schedule pickups on Sat. then do breakdowns on Sun. No such thing as a weekend off for us.

Somehow my kids seem to get hungry Monday-Sunday...rain, shine, snow or cold.

I keep my weekends open for my family. We all are pretty busy during the week, and even though we see one another, we hardly get any quality togetherness time. That is what our weekends are for.

Didn't do the pickup today, thanks to the lovely weather. Client rescheduled for Monday.
