the wire deal is out for this month, however it is alive and well for next, he will give me another shot then. I told him to give me a weeks notice instead of 2 days next time to allow me to get the deal put together. I believe he will. the loads are closer to 1800# and #1 not #2. thanks all.

I don't understand why you would require notice for a reoccurring cycle, my wife had her moon regularly when she was alive.

I'd start piling cash together now so you'll be ready.

heres my take on this whole situation.

I met with the guy and was completely up front with him. he is a nice guym and will give me another call next month, however, he is also a business man and wants what he wants when he wants it, and he has earned that right. I have been there so I understand his position and do not fault him for it.

when his trailer is full he sells it dosent make any difference to whom, I also understand that.
here is my plan I will begin now to gather as much Money as I can in the next month. I estimate I will still need a 50 /50 partner on this deal, but I will be up front here too, when I can handle it by myself I will. so it would be a month or two proposition. unless we establish other terms.

I estimate the gross profit each month at about $1000 so any one interested would be looking at a gross profit of about $500/$800 from an investment of about $1000/$1200. that is based on current local prices, $135 for insulated and $2.55 for bare. Just a heads up.

I think anytime you can make 50 percent on your money in 30 days time that is a **** good investment. I also think since your going to be doing all the work olddude you shouldnt make it so lucrative for a cash only partner. Heck a 20 percent return on your money for a 30 day investment is still an awesome investment in my book.

yeah, i would settle for a 20% profit for a cash only investment. but i think olddude is looking for someone to show up and help strip those bare. and like he said, its only until he can handle his client without a partner. i like that idea. i wanna see that work out for him

OK since I dont deal with alot of wire. Just the stuff I get from appliances and stuff I need some help here. How much bare copper we talking about from 1000 pound sof #1 insulated wire? Is this a situation where you are able to double your money from stripping it or closer to 1.5 times the money?

Prosper has been on-line for several years now with many successful loans behind them. No I am not a member nor do I loan money.

    http://www.prosper.com/

You put in a request for a loan, any Prosper member or a number of them may contribute to your loan total. It is actually a pretty neat set up, when I checked it out a couple of years ago I wanted to create a loaners account just for fun and play to pass the long winter months away. But it was at that time not available to Canadians.

Now I have other projects to occupy my time. Anyhow good luck olddude.
