    Todays prices at Pacific Steel

Took some of my aluminum in. Disappointed on pay out. Figured I had more weight than I did.

    22 lbs of alum wheel @ .60/lb $13.20

    14 lbs of MLC @ .50/lb $7

    187 lbs of 6063 (extrusion) @.65/lb $121.55

    151 lbs of P 6063 (painted extrusion) @ .60/lb $90.60

    197 lbs of cast @ .55/lb $108.35

Cashed in my tickets at the Boise pacific today.

    Tin & appliances was .0875 a pound
    #2 copper was 2.40 a pound
Field copper was 2.30 a pound

Did find out they would only pay dirty SS for stove burners.

I'm okay with the per lb price. Just thought I had more since it took up most of an 18 foot trailer. Then again alum hardly weighs anything.

    Wobud,
    I'm in Nampa, ID.

Shred paid 7.5 cents a lb when I went in the day before this last load.

How many pounds of shred did you take in? Was just wondering why it was so low.

Correction. It was .775 cents a lb. I think that's a dollar difference on 1 ton. Anyways, I had 760 lbs.

Unless it's a vehicle I don't have many loads over 1,000 lbs, since I can't store it as the county gives me problems.
