A nice surprise !!

today i had an appointment to go pick up some old furniture from someone that lived pretty far from me. the only reason for going that much out of the way was just to get a flyer to him and spread some word of mouth about me and my business. i didnt think there was gonna be much metal as the craigslist post only has 2 pieces that were metal. turns out the guy just kicked out his tenants and the tenants never bothered to come back to get anything, he said i can take w.e i want ended up with a van load of metal !

I had a situation like this with my old landlord. There was a shed on the property and he told me I could take whatever I wanted from it if I helped him empty out. It was FULL of mechanics tools/equipment!

Did not make too much off the scrap but ended up with over 1k in usable tools!

yeah sometimes the real treasure isnt in the scrap it might be something valuble you come across.
