    Yea or Nay

    As i have taken apart things , I see it's time to decide.
    See often I'll have brass and I decide to sell it as dirty brass as i just don't have the time to clean it . Some times one says I just don't want to play with this valve for 45 min. to make .70 extra.
    I've sold off AL as mix .09, cause I can't sit with the item for 1 hr for $2.50 extra .
    Now Dirty copper hmm. AKA Copper Bearing items, My first experience with CB was bad as I was new to the game and struggling with a large transformer, must of been a 3 lb plus copper transformer not to mention the short . I gave up, - metal naivety - and figured the yard man would take it as a motor, instead he said Copper Bearing sounded ok by me . till i saw all i got was .25 lb. so i stayed away from CB from that point.
    I now see CB as a potential high payer as now i see the ratio to copper on an item like steel , AL , can be low . sure the yard would like to see 50/50 but i see they go less.

    Listed below are a few of the items i feel are best sold as CB
    1) Tiny transformer found on boards
    2) Circuit beakers
    3) any sorta board component with small amt copper
    4) tiny motors from microwaves (glass spinner) and any other tiny

    Yea = Take apart

    Nay = Put to CB

    Obvious as to, is it worth sitting in one spot for that ever so small amt copper, sure it will add up but - CB might pay more due to good weight on the steel that copper is hooked to.
