Craigslists ups and downs

today i contacted a guy with a basketball hoop and he said he still had it and i arranged a pick up for it. the guy was pretty far but even if i broke even i wouldve been happy giving him a flyer and possibly picking up some more scrap in the future from him. when i get there thou he doesnt answer his phone or door so i decide to leave 2 hours later he calls asking if i still want it i told him i was there and he didnt answer so just give it someone else. pissed that i wasted so much gas for nothing i decided just to go home but omw home i get a call from a women i emailed about a dryer some tvs and some tables she tells me to come see what i want shes moving and trying to downsize. when i get there i see marine corps stuff everywhere (her 2 sons are marines) turns out i went to basic training with them so i come take the tables tvs and she tells me come back in 2 weeks to get the dryer a computer and aluminum wheels and maybe a motorcycle so i leave happy ready to go home when another person i emailed about a treadmill calls and tells me he needs it gone asap i go and pick it up and go on home omw home i found 2 more tvs and some aluminum shelfing so the day didnt turn out too bad after all
