Good To Ask...

Hello all.
Been off-line a while, hussling hard this week since I took my wife to a dentist and found out she needs not only TWO fillings, but a root-canal and filling ALSO.
Told dentist I barely work (ha-ha fibbed, just no insurance, don't make much), they will give me 40% discount for my sob-story (helped! woo-hoo). Still need $450 down pyt.
and more within three weeks so I'll be on-line when I can but I've put EVERYTHING else on hold (my knife-making, TV, etc.) to scrap 24/7 for now.

Anyway, had a good few days, filled my storage while the yard was closed for new-years. Hussled more on my "route" than ever.



Here's reason for post:
Yesterday I saw about over a few thous. Lb.s of steel store displays....thinking of "scooping them up" ...wasn't certain ...decided Jail-time+ payback is not worth some stupid steel.

Planned to get them this morning at dawn, changed my mind.
Walked inside today and the manager told me "sure, you can take them"
Man that felt good!!! ALL my stress on this type stuff has been loading as fast, quietly as possible, worry about the law/employees, and the fatigue from doing such.
I was really glad I asked first!
It was over 1000 lb.s AND she told me to check for more in a few days!

It's crazy, the Jamaican buddy who taught me scrap used to KNOW what was OK to0 pick-up, I never was certain IF he was "fibbing", but it's more stressfull working alone.
