    big two days :)

    we had a big two days finished out our cleanup job yesterday morning went and cashed in. went back to our shop and broke down all our brass radiators (we only had 7) loaded em up with batteries cats and some misc brass and copper cashed in(didnt sell the cats ). while in the yard got a call to pick up a chevy s10 paid $200 while winching it up got a call for a grand caravan broke down on the side of the road, we went and swapted trailers loaded up went home went to bed. today hauled the van to the yard didnt have time to scrap properly took off the battery we had to go get 3 cars one trailer park paid 200 apiece grand prix, malabu, oldsmobile cutlass about an hour from home. we tried a yard down there never been to before turns out my partner knew the owners daughter bumped us up to 12 cents a lb and paid us 60 to 72 for our cats over double what we would get a home. all 3 had alum wheels they still in the truck to take off the rims later. now its after 4 drive right past my house then another 45 min for a cavalier. come home shower and im beat sorry to bore everyone that reads this but that was my 2days in the life of a scrapper. 2moro gonna meet the guy with the 6 semis probably start there tuesday and monday we are cutting up a 5500 gallon oil tank

    you know what they say you can wish in one hand and sh@t in the other and see which ond fills up first. Try praying for work or money I heard that works to. lol. Well I am out gonna go to work and finish cutting up locomotives.

    thx everyone it was our best week ever we bought 8 cars total still have 3 of them. id like to try cutting on some of those locomotives but our semis will be a challenge for us. we got a hook up with a repo guy and a used car dealer thru our ads. we are gonna print some professional flyers on some card stock to take to every car dealer in the local area giving a minimum buy at 250 up to 500 as long as the car is complete. we figure if they like it they wont have to turn down any trades no matter how bad they can just give us a call before the trade and we can make them an offer and they will be in the clear from the start.
