    First recurring cstomer!

Went grocery shopping today and decided to pick a monitor since it was right across the street from the store. They ended up giving me a tower too and got to talking and I told them I will be able to start my business officially at the end of this month and they said great as they usually have a few towers every couple of months or so and they have been throwing them away so now they will be emailing me to pick them up instead. I can't wait to get into it full swing! I have so many ideas I'm bursting at the seams. I already have a plastics buyer when I am ready and I'm to recycle the crts myself. Well that was my day. I just cleaned 12 towers that I got for free the other day and it only took me half an hour so when things start really moving for me it will be great!

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

Recurring free material is fantastic. When you visit with them, take a little time to get to know them if they don't seem to be in a hurry. Once in a while, after knowing them, drop them some coffee or donuts or other such stuff they may like when you go to pick up.

I second that idea. I have a couple companies that I deal with that I have coffee and donuts delivered to (they are out of state). It keeps you in their minds. You wouldn't believe the number of referrals that they send my way.

Thanks for the great advice you guys. I will definitely do that! I also found out a factory in town is upgrading their entire computer network and they are just going to throw the old computers away! I will be giving them a call on MOnday for sure!

Had a customer come for an A/V cart yesterday(sorry PTS, but still laughing about that). As he stood there looking at it, all of a sudden he looked up and said "Wow, I've been here before." Turns out he was a repeat Craigslist customer that thought he was just responding to an add.
