Ahh yes. Gov auctions. I bought 17 tons of file cabinets in 2009. Sadly scrap was only going for 60/ton at the time.
yeah i got 12.50/hundred....scrap prices are pretty good here in Tenn
Watched a guy load a 28' gooseneck equipment trailer with file cabinets at an auction once...stacked like bricks. Guess there's money in them after all!
Isn't it kinda sad that we have to junk perfectly good equipment like this when our government and schools turn right around and pay 100's each for new ones?!

They cant make you pay band fees or sports fees. They also cant keep your kid from doing said band or sport. File a complaint with the school board.
YEp thats what i tole em too. I aint' payin it! said i pay 40 bucks a month for his trombone. ifn they give em one then i'd give them the 40. 1 time not a momth. they didnt like that idea. tole me to think bout it an let em know what i figured out monday. i says its figguerd out. I AINT PAYIN IT!
YEah I paid 150 bucks for daughter to play basketball. They cant make you pay the fee but they can ask you to pay.
Filing cabinets are heavy as hell. Almost broke my dads carrying wrist one. Well done
...I agree....these were surplus but in decent shape however many were locked with lost keys....Like they say when in Rome do like the ROMANS
