    Thumbs up

If you are talking about record highs, then yes I'm confident it will do the same this Spring.

I do not see the demand for copper this year. I think that we are seeing the high's for copper this year, there may be spikes to another .25 cents. But, I think this is it.

Copper prices seem to be coming up sooner than I thought they would. I was anticipating that it would not come back up till March or April. Perhaps one of the few times I Love being wrong.

Hey Copper Head, How far up North are you? I am located in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. I just took some copper #1 Brite at $ 3.14 lb. & #1 clean $ 3.02 lb.

I am curious what everyone else is getting in thier area?

Expect to see copper hit $4 by mid second quarter. As long as China starts buying again and as long as France does not file BK.

The market is ripe for it and the experts all believe it is coming. Now I just hope they are right.

Hey skiprat try taking it to a larger yard. Sims were paying £4.50kg for bare bright a few weeks ago and £3.90 for braziery copper(#2) light steel was $165 p/tonne

we are starting to see a change from high volume and small profit to lower volume and higher profit. while demand for commodities has declined so has the supply side. in many cases the supply side has declined more than the demand. which means the price will go up.

many of the current copper mines need a price of $3.50/ lb or more to be profitable. as the price has declined so has their production. some have closed. it remains to be seen how many will open or increase production as the price increases.
