    Smile IdahoScrapper, any chance of finding a old 50s tube type TV in the dump?

    IdahoScrapper, i just looked at my local dump and found nothing, i want a old 50s black and white TV, but i cant find one in the local ads or anything, so is there any chance? Slim to Maybe on a scale of 1 to 10

    I have a 60 year old motorola tube tv, black and white i'm sure. Dont know how id get it to ya, but if yer interested i'm sure we could make a deal.

    Are you wanting a working tv? Chances are even if you found one in the dump, it doesn't work.

    Might try ebay. Is craigslist popular over there? Maybe Kijiji.com

    Or post a wanted ad in the paper/CL.

    I picked one from by a dumpster. The wood cabinet was trashed, but I'm stripping it for parts to sell on ebay.

    Ha....yeah....

    Buddy i'm in Idaho. And yer in Australia. The thing weighs about 80 pounds. Shipping would be INSANE. If you'd agree to a price on the tv, as long as it's worth my time id ship it too you.

    yea, i just got 2 portables, i'll get a video up on youtube about them, then i will run the TVs like the displays in Wal-Mart or some other American store
