    treasure, whats this ?

    here are the first results frmm my #1 whale stash, and in case you gis me. sory bout the quality of the photos. top one is off center there is another row to the right all but 4 are 386/87 or 486. the one is something I have never seen becore it was in an IBM server under a smallish board above the mother board, it is 3 chips all stacked on top of each other. about 1 1/4 in by 1 1/4 in.







    this is a tripple stacked chip out of an old IBM server

    That third picture looks like an adapter of some kind....I know they used to make adapters back in the earlier days of computers because it was too expensive to replace the entire computer or server and it was much cheaper to made a new part fit.

    could be Iv never seen any thing like it, even on the collectors sites. there is no number writing or ant thing just 3 cpus stacked on top of each other. I hvent tried very hard to get them apart in case they are very rare.

    Not sure what it is, but if you look at this link you can get an idea of what some vintage stuff can go for.

    In fact, when you have a bit of spare time, go to E-bay and type in vintage IBM, then select completed sales. You would not believe the stuff in there. Those old school clocks that hung on the wall that were made by IBM go for $40 or so.

    Punchcards, manuals, you name it.
