I saw a silver plated pitcher it was 3lb & i wanted to pay $3 as i felt it was brass under silver.
    Here is a question

I would highly doubt it. You would be looking at brass or copper. If copper, it will usually say plate over copper.

I have a silver plated copper piece & as you say thats what it says on bottom . the pitcher did not say it . Still for $5 i should have got it .I just have this thing about making some kind of profit . the only thing that i did not like was the handle looked like silver plated die cast.

Even if it was brass....still would fetch $5.55.

The TV kid is just bored....I don't think that will last too long.

I need to open to the big picture but by me brass is $ 1.50 lb stupid me after all like most people so much money is wasted and spent any way - so I guess a .50 loss is still better then a typical spent $5 of life.
