I say yes , I found 2 scales one from the 1920's other from 1980's
the DR, scale from the 20's goes up to 250 lb the scale from the 80's goes up to 350 lb . That says it all to me I wonder what the year 2012 standard is?

I have a doctor's office scale that I purchased about 10 years ago. It accurately reads to 400.
Well, didn't you know that obesity in America has risen to epidemic proportions. The scales didn't surprise me at all...just look around you. Everyone is round !!
well....that is a fail when it comes to me....do you know how hard it is to find pants that will fit me?!?!?
sure seems like we're getting larger...ever try to find vintage clothes or uniforms that fit you?
This reminds me of the space-cruise ship in Wall-E where everyone is 300lbs, rides a hover chair and drinks their meals from styrofoam cups LOL
Does that mean that you turn sideways and stick your tongue out and look like a zipper??I can fit into anything for the most part...I only need a door cracked and I stand sideways and I can slide right on it.

Had eyes washed. Several times. Had memory of photo suppressed way,way deep down in the back of my mind. Thought it locked away and forgotten. Then out of the blue come this:
It's all back now. More horrifyingly vivid than ever. Next step? Probably therapy. Thanks a whole lot Scrapette!
AMERICAN BORN, AMERICAN BRED! AND I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!

Skyline....therapy wouldn't help....someone will bring it up again !!
Well hows this !! I find the old balance scales are very accurate . I have a 10 lb test weight once you set scale to that you are pretty much dead on. I also have a digital scale for weighing people. There is no adjustments but the 10 lb test weight show up as 9.4 lb .Is the scale broke or do they also do this to make people feel better about them selves.
As to scales, there is something very nice about the old scales ,the needed procedures to get the correct weight is rewarding and dead accurate.
