    Warms the Heart

So one of the things that my company does is donation to certain charitable organizations...One of them is run by a husband and wife team...They build computers for children with disabilities whose parents cannot afford to buy a computer for them. They provide the computers free of charge to the children.
We normally donate about a dozen towers each month (no hard drives) to the organization to help with the ever growing list of kids that are waiting for computers. We talked to a few of the computer repair shops that we work with and they agreed to donate working hard drives.
So I went to the mail box this morning and found 4 letters from children thanking us for helping them get a computer. The letters were all written long hand and featured drawings and so on. I have to admit that I teared up a bit when I was reading them. Sometimes this can be a thankless job but this morning I felt better about it than I ever have.

ComputerScrapper, this is a great story, I can appreciate your emotion over the letters. I believe sometimes the small sacrifices have great rewards. Keep up the great work. Bigjoshl
