Well a lot of folks will replace most of those items on the list DIY. fairly simple unplug the old roll in the new. while hot water heaters, a lot of folks might not be comfortable dealing with the electric or the gas lines. and the plumber or electrician probably hauls them off. I have also saw several of the bigger box stores offering to remove the old ones,when they install the new ones.
